To apply to become a camper is very simple. If you are aged between 5 and 16 then you can apply here.
Camp Quality UK holidays aim to give children with potentially life limiting illnesses an opportunity to be free of the constraints they may feel are placed on them by their illness. This is achieved by treating everyone the same, encouraging children in doing things they wouldn't normally do and in allowing them to suddenly be normal as they will be amongst up to 30 other children.
The family also benefits as siblings get the chance to receive some often rare attention from their parents. In addition, parents can rest, knowing that at Camp Quality UK, their child is being well looked after and being given the opportunity to be a child again.

FAQ's
Where are the holidays held?
We don't believe that purchasing a holiday ground that is vacant for much of the year, is the best way to spend donor money so we use a number of excellent facilities across the United Kingdom.
Can my child go to camp if he/she is very sick?
It's up to the child's doctor, however, if the doctor says yes and we can find the medical staff, it's all systems go! It can give a child a boost at the time most needed.
Is there a cost to us?
No, your family will not be asked to pay a fee for registration for participation in any Camp Quality program.
Will my children be insured?
Yes. We are careful that everything included in our program has been approved by our insurers. Our general insurance covers children at all events organised by Camp Quality.
Can I go to camp with my child?
We encourage the children to have a go and help build their self confidence. Children may not be as independent if Mum or Dad is there.
Can siblings come too?
Families need to do things together, also siblings need as much support as their brothers and sisters. They can feel left out and Camp Quality works to help them cope with that. We include siblings whenever we can.
How many camps can my child attend each year?
The number often depends on spaces available.
Is Camp Quality only for children on treatment?
No, most of our children are in remission but they still have to live with problems not shared by children who have not been ill. At camp they can be with other children who understand.
How many children go to each camp?
This depends on the venue, the funding and the advice of our medical advisers. We try to keep our camps to between 20-30 children, but there might be occasions when this varies.
What age children do you cater for?
Our children are aged from 5-16 years of age.
