Dukes Barn
Dukes Barn is a new site for us this year. It is an adventurous holiday with a mixture of activities from a more relaxed time to the adventurous mixture of activities on offer. It copes well with children who have a range of abilities, catering both for lively and quieter children.
Accommodation
We stay on the borders of the picturesque Peak District. The centre consists of a large converted barn with many rooms. The children sleep in single sex dormitories. The adults are all on hand in nearby dormitory bedrooms. Everything is either on site or within easy access of the centre. Press here to view Dukes Barn's website.
Medical care
The medical team have their own on-site accommodation, with easy access to nearby hospitals. There is a doctor and a nurse on each Dukes Barn holiday. They travel with us on all activities. If you have any questions about how we can cater for your child's medical requirements please contact us.
Activities
The children who go to Dukes Barn may be on treatment, we ensure that the quieter or less energetic children are well catered for. However, for those who are keen to be challenged we put on a few activities to encourage them to try new things. Activities might include: abseiling, low ropes, pot holing, climbing, and craft. We do offer a few sibling places on this camp.
Travel
All we ask is that you get your children to Dukes Barn and we will take care of the rest.
Notes
We recommend that insurance is arranged to cover the lost of games consoles and mobile phones.
